• Sole unit physician overseeing three physician assistants and the medical readiness of 1200+ active duty soldiers

• Senior medical advisor to Brigade leadership and liason between Brigade and XVIII Airborne Corps Surgeon Cell

• Organize training of medics and providers through mixture of didactics, instruction during clinic patient encounters, and field exercises

  • Used JTS CPGs to develop curriculum which taught multiple echelons of care including first responders, medics, and providers how to execute a Walking Blood Bank during a MASCAL event

  • Created POCUS didactics, clinical scenarios, and taught medics and providers in clinic basic anatomy related to the eFAST as well as US guided procedures, respectively

• Provided greater patient access to care by advertising patient portal use Brigade-wide, enabling virtual appointments, and being flexible to the unit’s needs

• Helped implement new EMR system including medic instruction, troubleshooting, and clinic throughput optimization

• Advised Brigade and Corps leadership on Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination rollout, developed educational materials, and assisted at temporary vaccination site which vaccinated 50,000+ active duty soldiers and their families during 2021

• Acquired and arranged medications, medical equipment, as well as sustainability and outreach supplies

• Coordinated multiple trips to Haiti, Nicaragua, and Ecuador

• Trained incoming executive board replacements in planning and organization during busy third year clerkships

• As a fourth year medical student, was the senior medical student during trip to Ecuador

• Worked closely with attending physicians during trip to precept junior medical students in both clinical acumen and research protocol

• Arranged and contributed to several student art gallery exhibits throughout the year

• Collaborated with committee members to develop wellness activities for medical students

• Oversaw painting of multiple story mural in campus stairwell based on medicine, Wayne State, and the city of Detroit
